Customs and Immigration will be available at Charlotteville for all participating foreign boats.

Entrance Fee:

The entrance fee for this tournament is US$200 per angler. Minimum of four (4) anglers per team. Any person on board a vessel registered in the TIGFT tournament during fishing hours is considered an angler and is required to register. Only Official Observers appointed by the TIGFT Committee are exempt from this rule. Note, those who wish to compete in the Junior Angler category must be born on or after 19th March, 1995 to qualify.

Captain’s Briefing:

Communications:

All participating boats must have a working “ship to shore” VHF radio on board at all times. Channel 63 is the frequency which will be used for all tournament communications. All strikes, hook ups, catches and releases must be reported to Tournament Control as they occur. Tournament Control will operate from 6:00am to 6:00pm each fishing day and from 8:00am to 6:00pm Lay Day.

Protest Rule:

A radio report of any protest must be made to Tournament Control within three hours of the alleged offence. Written confirmation of the protest must be lodged with the Tournament Protest Committee no later than 24 hours after the alleged offense has taken place. The Protest Committee will comprise the Tournament Judge and three visiting anglers. Note that no member of the Tournament Organizing Committee will be part of the Protest Committee.

Bimini Start:

On Wednesday, 13th May, 2015 (Day 1), at 7:00am. All participating boats will receive 250 points. Communicate with Tournament Control to inform of participation.

Digital Cameras:

All participating boats must have a DIGITAL CAMERA with Memory Card on board to be used for Tag & Release photos. TIGFT will not provide cameras. It is recommended that you have more than one camera on board and back-up batteries or chargers. The camera should have a minimum resolution of 3.2 megapixels. You are required to bring your Digital Camera and memory Card to scale for processing each day. All Digital Cameras and Memory Cards are to be brought to Registration for recording of serial numbers and clearing of Memory Cards. TIGFT is not responsible for photos lost. Only registered Cameras and Cards will be accepted at the scale.

Anglers Lime:

Immediately after weigh-in on Thursday evening at 5:00pm Doubles, CornSoup, and lots on the grill! Live Entertainment! Bring your cooler and join the Lime!

Lay Day Activities:

On Friday, 15th May 2015 there will be a cook-up lime at 1:00pm followed by activities on the community grounds.

Awards Ceremony:

The awards ceremony will take place at 7:30pm on Saturday, 16th May 2015 at the Community Centre basketball court. Dinner tickets are provided to registered anglers.

Fuel:

Fuel will be available at Charlotteville. Captains are advised to contact the Tournament Committee regarding fuel arrangements.

Bait:

Bait can be obtained at Charlotteville, subject to availability.

Ice:

Ice can be purchased at the Bay View Supermarket located at the base of the Charlotteville jetty.

Water:

Water will be provided at the Charlotteville jetty.

Meals:

Breakfast will be provided for all registered anglers on every fishing day from:

4:30am to 5:30am.
